Towball weight scales are a great idea for keeping your tow ball weight constant. Suitable for boat trailer or caravan.

Because tow ball weights are constantly changing due to loading of perishables or not being packed evenly over axles or stored fuel (boats) it really is a must to have a coupling weight scale on board.

How to Use the CM295 Scale

Park on flat, level ground and chock both your trailer wheels securely.
Apply the RV or trailer handbrake.
Lower the jockey wheel so the trailer is supported.
Place the CM295 scale directly underneath the trailer's tow ball/hitch.
Slowly wind up the jockey wheel to transfer the trailer's weight onto the scale.
Read the downward weight on the dial to ensure it aligns with your vehicle and trailer safety standards (usually ~10% of the total towing weight).
